Editorial Illustration in the field: Another Month of Sketches

As an editorial illustrator and small business brand designer, I'm constantly sketching, not just because I need to keep my skills sharp but also because I'm happiest when I'm drawing. So I thought to celebrate I might share some of the sketches form this month I haven't had a chance to share with anyone yet!
I do a lot of my sketching form observation in cafes and coffee shops. It's a great way to keep in touch with my local community, practice drawing people and relax at the end of the week all at the same time. The sketch above is from Coffee Daze which is the coffee shop closest to me.
Most of these sketches are from Larcher's Market, but there's also one I did at Coffee Daze and another at Aroma Coffee House.

It's also finally gotten warm enough for me to be able to do some sketching in College Hill Park.
